great access to restaurants and cultural attractions for weekend stays

i enjoyed the close proximity to a variety of dining options like Viet Bistro and Applebee's, as well as quick access to the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, which made my weekend city strolls all the more delightful, and the service was friendly and professional during my stay. this wouldn’t be a family-friendly stay, though, as noise from nearby rooms could disrupt your night's sleep.

Had a spacious room with the comfiest bed and a fabulous mirror! The liquid soap was a delightful upgrade from those tiny bars. Spotless environment, too—looked like it gets a good scrub daily.

The renovations started at 7 am—perfect for a morning coffee, less so for a lie-in.

The air conditioning filters hadn’t been cleaned, which I had to tackle myself to improve air flow. I encountered an issue with the bathroom exhaust fan, which completely stopped working, and a handful of tiny ants showed up too, likely coming from the neighboring room. While these bugs weren’t a huge problem, they weren’t in line with the hotel’s overall cleanliness. Also, the trash cans lacked liners, and the shower could use a bit more flow. those improvements would go a long way.

Had a great time with friends! We explored local restaurants and checked out some shops nearby. The staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was a nice perk. Keep in mind, it’s an older property, so some updates would help. Overall, a solid stay for a group trip!

However, my room unfortunately had a strong musty smell that lingered throughout my stay. The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, as I noticed some spots that weren't well attended to. Breakfast was a highlight. it had a good variety and everything was hot and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the coffee. The pool area could use some better maintenance, as it felt a bit slimy. Also, I encountered some noise during the night that disrupted my sleep, likely from nearby rooms. Despite these issues, I appreciated the friendly staff who worked hard to keep things running and did their best to assist.
